Welcome to Other Extreme Productions

Other Extreme Productions is a brainchild of mine; although a business its purpose is to bring in some coins so that I can afford to give away certain products like the video documentary, "Don't Marry the Dragon" and other items. After making the video which is about heroin addiction, many people made the comment that the video was "extreme". By nature, the topic of heroin addiction and all it entails is no doubt extreme. So I came up with Don't Marry the Dragon & Other Extreme Productions. As you look at the other sites I have either created for myself or for other people they are also extreme in their own way.

 Web Design

I am by no means a html code or java script expert. I currently do piece work for a larger website administration firm. So I am learning as I go. My specialty is in design which is something I love to do. The flip side to the level of my expertise is that it is going to cost you a lot less than a big outfit. If you are looking for a small to medium presentation for your ministry, organization, or private business then you have come to the right place. I can start from scratch or get your current site out of that "homemade" look. The brass tacks are as follows:

 Description of Services

Designing a 3 or 5 page basic site is the creation from beginning to end but does not include hosting, which is listed below. Each additional page would be charged at the hourly rate, however I would probably work out a deal that would benefit you.

Maintaining a site by making edits, changes, updates, and/or additions is charged at an hourly rate of 25.00 per hour.

Consultation to help you design your own site is $45.00 per hour with a one hour minimum. You may ask, "how come so much?" It is easier to do the work myself than to show you how to use a web building program.

I also do custom design templates that you can take and plug into your own website. This will save you money. This would be for the person who did not need my hosting or periodical work on their site. Basic Template Package includes the following:

• Index Page (Main) & Secondary Page (template for all other pages)
• Links and SSI Footer
• CSS Style Sheet
• Other Misc. Folders

The Basic Template Package is $350.00. This does not include special scripted drop-down menus or any extras. The process is simple; Once you give me your basic theme I will work with the color scheme and your main picture or logo. Once you approve of the design, the templates can be made and all you have to do is put the content in the pages. This is easy even for a beginner. Contact me for any questions you may have.

 Web Hosting

If you are unfamiliar with the terminology for the web world, hosting is separate from design. Hosting includes: domain names (name of your site), the space required to hold all the files, images, video, etc for your site. Also things like email accounts and other features. You can get a lot of frills you may never use, or like me you may want to just stick to the basics. Like my cell phone, it takes pictures and a whole bunch of stuff, but I can't hear out of the speaker. Since its a phone I would like to hear my calls, if I want to take pictures I will buy a camera. I take the same approach to the hosting. After discussing your needs we can come up with something that suits you. Bottom line - you will pay between $15.00 and $40.00 a month to give you an idea.

 Hidden Costs

There are no hidden costs that will come up later in case you are wondering. Good communication from the start will insure a good working relationship and a happy customer. I have worked in retail a good share of my life and excel in customer service.
One of things I am willing and actually prefer to do is to show you how to access and manage your own site. This way you can learn and make the simple everyday type changes to your site. I would never recommend to have your site done by anyone who you don't trust. Once a site is created by someone they may hold all the legal rights and have the passwords so it makes it very hard for you, the customer to have any recourse if the working relationship goes array. This problem works vice versa also.
